He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He was proprietor of Oakeley, Vaughan & Co, of Lloyd’s.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Oakeley, of Shrewsbury [G.B., 1790] on 20 July 1938.1
