     Dorothy Emily Cox was the daughter of Reverend John Cox.¹ She married Major David Steuart, son of Robert Steuart and Helen Buchanan, on 17 January 1861.¹ She died on 18 February 1910.¹
     From 17 January 1861, her married name became Steuart.

     Robert John Archibald Steuart was born on 10 October 1863.¹ He was the son of Major David Steuart and Dorothy Emily Cox.¹ He died on 27 October 1932 at age 69.¹

     Mary Helen Steuart was the daughter of Major David Steuart and Dorothy Emily Cox.¹ She married Colonel William George Lyddon in September 1909.¹ She died on 31 October 1926.¹
     From September 1909, her married name became Lyddon.

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹

     Lt.-Col. George Mackenzie Steuart was born on 10 December 1786.¹ He was the son of David Steuart and Margaret Ramsay.¹ He married Mary Babington, daughter of Murray Babington and Mary Heron Gordon, on 25 December 1820.¹ He died on 23 June 1855 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Murray Babington was the son of Reverend William Babington and Dorothea Campbell.² He married Mary Heron Gordon, daughter of Gilbert Gordon and Margaret Stewart, on 2 June 1788.² He died in 1839.² He was also reported to have died in September 1810.³
     He was also known as James Murray Babington.³ He lived at Bonnylenn, Inver, County Donegal, Ireland.³

     Mary Babington was the daughter of Murray Babington and Mary Heron Gordon.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. George Mackenzie Steuart, son of David Steuart and Margaret Ramsay, on 25 December 1820.¹ She died on 24 June 1869.¹
     From 25 December 1820, her married name became Steuart.

     George Steuart was born on 3 October 1821.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Mackenzie Steuart and Mary Babington.² He married Susan Alexander McAlpine, daughter of James McAlpine, on 9 November 1865.¹ He died on 5 October 1893 at age 72.¹
     He was Brigadier-General of the Royal Company of Archers.¹

     Susan Alexander McAlpine was the daughter of James McAlpine.² She married, firstly, Henry Goodwyn before 1865.² She married, secondly, George Steuart, son of Lt.-Col. George Mackenzie Steuart and Mary Babington, on 9 November 1865.¹ She died on 14 March 1921.¹
     From before 1865, her married name became Goodwyn.² From 9 November 1865, her married name became Steuart.
