     Sir Henry Savile, 1st and last Bt. was born in 1579.¹ He was the son of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹ He married Mary Dent, daughter of John Dent.¹ He died on 23 June 1632, without surviving issue.¹
     He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1603.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough between 1604 and 1611.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Savile, of Methley Hall, co. Yorks [England] on 29 June 1611.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York in 1629.¹

     Mary Dent is the daughter of John Dent.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Henry Savile, 1st and last Bt., son of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Sheffield on 23 September 1634.¹
     Her married name became Savile. From 23 September 1634, her married name became Sheffield.¹

     Jane Savile is the daughter of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹ She married Sir Henry Goodricke, son of Meriol Eure.¹
     Her married name became Goodricke.

     Sir Henry Goodricke is the son of Meriol Eure. He married Jane Savile, daughter of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹
     He lived at Ribstone, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Savile is the daughter of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹ She married Sir John Jackson.¹
     Her married name became Jackson.

     Sir John Jackson married Elizabeth Savile, daughter of Sir John Savile and Jane Garth.¹
     He lived at Hickleton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Henry Savile was born on 17 September 1763.¹ He was the son of John Savile, 1st Earl of Mexborough of Lifford and Sarah Delaval.¹ He died in 1828.¹

     Dorothy Wentworth is the daughter of Thomas Wentworth, 1st Lord Wentworth and Margaret Fortescue.¹ She married, thirdly, Sir John Savile, son of Henry Savile and Elizabeth Ramsden.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Paul Widmerpool.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Martin Frobisher, son of Bernard Frobisher and Margaret Yorke, in 1564.¹
     Her married name became Widmerpool.¹ Her married name became Savile. From 1564, her married name became Frobisher.¹
