Thomas Vaux, 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden1 

Thomas Vaux, 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden was born on 25 April 1509.1 He was the son of Nicholas Vaux, 1st Baron Vaux of Harrowden and Anne Greene.1,3 He married Elizabeth Cheney, daughter of Sir Thomas Cheyne and Anne Parr, from 25 April 1523 to 10 November 1523.1 He died in October 1556 at age 47.
He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden, co. Northampton [E., 1523] on 14 May 1523.1 He held the office of Governor of Jersey from January 1525/26 to July 1536.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1533.1 He wrote the book ‘The Assault of Cupide’ and ‘The Aged Louer (Lover)’, published 1557, which were published in a collection amassed by Tottel, of Tottel’s Miscellany fame.1

Elizabeth Cheney
From from 25 April 1523 to 10 November 1523, her married name became Vaux. After her marriage, Elizabeth Cheney was styled as Baroness Vaux of Harrowden on 14 May 1523.

Thomas Wentworth, 1st Lord Wentworth 

Thomas Wentworth, 1st Lord Wentworth was born in 1501.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Wentworth and Anne Tyrrell.3 He married Margaret Fortescue, daughter of Sir Adrian Fortescue and Anne Stonor, circa 1520.2 He died on 3 March 1550/51.2
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Despenser [E., 1387], de jure.2 He was appointed Knight in 1523.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk in 1529.2 He was created 1st Lord Wentworth [England by writ] after 3 November 1529.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) before 9 October 1549.2 He held the office of Lord Chamberlain from February 1549/50 to March 1550/51.2
