     Julia (?) married, firstly, William Johnston of Appleby.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Hector Maclean Hay of Alderston, 7th Bt., son of Sir James Douglas Hamilton Hay of Alderston, 6th Bt. and Jane Sanders, on 24 January 1889.¹ She died on 14 March 1906.¹
     Her married name became Johnston.¹ From 24 January 1889, her married name became Hay.¹

     Carine Celia Ann Coldwell is the daughter of James St. George Coldwell.³ She married Sir Richard John Maitland, 9th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Keith Maitland, 8th Bt. and Lavender Mary Jex Jackson, on 21 November 1981.¹ She married John Christopher William Kidd, son of Captain John Kidd and Gwenllian Anne Talbot Lewes, in 1995.²
     From 21 November 1981, her married name became Maitland. From 1995, her married name became Kidd.²

     Alice Emma Maitland was born on 22 April 1983.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Richard John Maitland, 9th Bt. and Carine Celia Ann Coldwell.²

     John Malcolm of Balbedie, Lochore and Innertiel was born in 1611.² He married Margaret Arnot, daughter of Sir Michael Arnot of that Ilk.¹ He died on 8 February 1692.¹
     He was Chamberlain of Fife in 1641.¹ On 15 July 1646 he had a Crown charter of the land and (territorial) Barony of Balbedie.¹ On 16 August 1662 Balbedie was erected with the Barony of Lochore into one Barony.¹

     Margaret Arnot was the daughter of Sir Michael Arnot of that Ilk.² She married John Malcolm of Balbedie, Lochore and Innertiel.¹ She died on 8 May 1698.¹
     Her married name became Malcolm.
