     He was also known as Siôn aer hen.¹

     Sir Hugh Conwy was born circa 1453.¹ He was the son of John Conwy and Alice Minshall.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Courtenay, daughter of Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon and Lady Margaret Beaufort.³ He married, secondly, Joice (?)¹ He died between 12 March 1517 and 23 May 1518.¹
     He was Esquire of the Body.¹ He held the office of Keeper of the Great Wardrobe in 1485.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of Ireland in 1494.¹ He held the office of Treasurer of Calais in 1504.¹

     unknown daughter Conwy is the daughter of John Conwy and Jonet Stanley.¹

     Edmund Stanley lived at Hooton, Cheshire, England.¹

     Jonet Stanley is the daughter of Edmund Stanley.² She married John Conwy, son of Jenkin Conwy and Marsli ferch Maredudd.¹
     Her married name became Conwy.

     John Conwy was the son of John Conwy and Jonet Stanley.² He married Jonet Salesbury, daughter of Thomas ‘Hen’ Salesbury.¹ He died in 1523/24.¹
