     Lady Margaret Beaufort was born circa 1400. She was the daughter of John de Beaufort, 1st Earl of Somerset and Lady Margaret de Holand.¹ She married Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon, son of Hugh de Courtenay, 4th Earl of Devon and Anne Talbot, after 1421.¹ She died in November 1449.
     From after 1421, her married name became Courtenay.

     John Courtenay, 7th Earl of Devon was born circa 1435.¹ He was the son of Thomas Courtenay, 5th Earl of Devon and Lady Margaret Beaufort.¹ He died on 4 May 1471 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G, killed in action.²
     He succeeded as the 8th Lord Courtenay [E., 1299] on 9 October 1470.² He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Devon [E., 1335] on 9 October 1470, when his honours were restored by King Henry VI.² He fought in the Battle of Barnet on 14 April 1471, after which all of his honours were again forfeited.² He fought in the Battle of Tewkesbury on 4 May 1471.²

     Lady Eleanor Beauchamp was born between 1407 and 1408 at Wedgenock, Warwickshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Richard de Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick and Elizabeth de Berkeley.^1,3 She married, firstly, Thomas de Ros, 8th Lord de Ros of Helmsley, son of William de Ros, 6th Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Margaret d‘Arundel, before 1430.² She married, secondly, Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset, son of John de Beaufort, 1st Earl of Somerset and Lady Margaret de Holand, between 1431 and 1435 in a unlicensed marriage, although this was pardoned on 7 March 1438.² She married, thirdly, Walter Rokesley.² She died between 4 March 1466 and 8 March 1468 at Baynard’s Castle, London, England^G.²
     From between 1431 and 1435, her married name became Beaufort.² Her married name became Rokesley.

     Elizabeth Beauchamp, Baroness Bergavenny was born on 16 September 1415 at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Richard Beauchamp, 1st Earl of Worcester and Isabel le Despenser.^2,3 She married Edward Neville, 1st Lord Abergavenny, son of Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Lady Joan de Beaufort, before 18 October 1424.² She died on 18 June 1448 at age 32.⁴ She was buried at the Carmelites, Coventry, Warwickshire, England^G.⁴
     She succeeded as the 3rd Baroness Bergavenny [E., 1392] on 18 March 1421/22, suo jure.²

     Henry Beaufort, 2nd Duke of Somerset was born on 26 January 1436.² He was the son of Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset and Lady Eleanor Beauchamp.¹ He died on 15 May 1464 at age 28 at Hexham, Northumberland, England^G, executed, unmarried.³ He was buried at Hexham Abbey, Hexham, Northumberland, England^G.³
     He was styled as Earl of Dorset between 1448 and May 1455.^3,4 He succeeded as the Count of Mortain [Normandy] on 22 May 1455.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Marquess of Dorset on 22 May 1455.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Duke of Somerset [E., 1448] on 22 May 1455.³ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Somerset on 22 May 1455.³ On 4 November 1461 when all his honours and estates were declared forfeit, alothough he was restored to them all on 10 March 1463.³

     Edmund Beaufort, 3rd Duke of Somerset was born circa 1439.¹ He was the son of Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset and Lady Eleanor Beauchamp. He died on 6 May 1471 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G, beheaded by the Yorkists.¹ He was buried at Tewkesbury Abbey, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Duke of Somerset [E., 1448] on 15 May 1464, although his succession to this title depends on the legitimacy of the attainder of his brother Henry. He was certainly regarded as Duke by the Lancastrians.² He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     John Beaufort, Earl of Dorset was the son of Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset and Lady Eleanor Beauchamp. He died on 4 May 1471 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G, killed in action.¹ He was buried at Tewkesbury Abbey, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
     He gained the title of Earl of Dorset. He fought in the Battle of Tewkesbury on 4 May 1471 at Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Hugh Bardolf, 1st Lord Bardolf was born circa 29 September 1259.¹ He was the son of William Bardolf and Julian de Gournay.¹ He married Isabel Aguillon, daughter of Sir Robert d‘Aguillon and Joan de Ferrers, before 1282.¹ He died in September 1304.¹
     He was appointed Knight.¹ He fought in the French and Scottish wars.¹ On 29 November 1295 he had seizin of his mother’s lands.¹ He was created 1st Lord Bardolf [England by writ] on 6 February 1298/99.¹

     Lady Joan Beaufort was the daughter of Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset and Lady Eleanor Beauchamp.¹ She married Sir Richard Fry.² She married Robert St. Lawrence, 2nd Baron Howth, son of Christopher St. Lawrence, 1st Baron Howth and Anne Plunket, in 1478 at England.¹ She died on 11 August 1518.
     After her marriage, Lady Joan Beaufort was styled as Baroness Howth in 1478. From 1478, her married name became St. Lawrence.¹

     Anne Beaufort was born in 1435 at London, England^G.² She was the daughter of Edmund Beaufort, 1st Duke of Somerset and Lady Eleanor Beauchamp. She married Sir William Paston.¹ She died before 28 November 1496.
