He was the son of Thomas Lake and Elizabeth Storey.² He married, firstly, Mary Atwell, daughter of William Atwell.¹ He married, secondly, Ann Sperling, daughter of Henry Sperling, before 1744.¹ He died circa 3 April 1744.¹ He was buried on 6 April 1744.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Lake, of Edmonton, Middlesex [Great Britain] on 17 October 1711.¹ He held the office of Bencher of the Middle Temple.¹ He was Sub-Governor of the Africa Company.¹

     Mary Atwell was the daughter of William Atwell.¹ She married Sir Bibye Lake, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Lake and Elizabeth Storey.¹ She died circa 20 January 1752.¹ She was buried on 23 January 1752.¹
     Her married name became Lake.

     Sir Atwell Lake, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 9 May 1713. He was the son of Sir Bibye Lake, 1st Bt. and Mary Atwell.² He married Mary Winter, daughter of James Winter, in July 1740.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lake, of Edmonton, Middlesex [G.B., 1711] circa 3 April 1744.¹ He was Governor of the Hudson Bay Company.¹ He was (an unknown value) on 10 April 1760.¹
