     Ernest Edward Dowling Clarke was born on 17 December 1920.¹ He was the son of Sir Rupert Turner Havelock Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Elise Florence Tucker.² He died on 14 December 1940 at age 19, killed on active service.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Elizabeth Elsie Faith Clarke was born on 12 July 1924.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Rupert Turner Havelock Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Elise Florence Tucker.² She married Willoughby Alfred Lake, son of Captain Sir Atwell Henry Lake, 9th Bt. and Kathleen Marion Turner, on 13 September 1952.²
     From 13 September 1952, her married name became Lake. She lived in 2003 at Horseshoe Farm, Harghan Road, Shropham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Captain Sir Atwell Henry Lake, 9th Bt. was born on 13 February 1891.² He is the son of Admiral Atwell Peregrine Macleod Lake and Constance Mary Turner.² He married Kathleen Marion Turner, daughter of Alfred Morrison Turner, on 20 July 1922.² He died on 27 November 1972 at age 81.²
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.² He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916, in H.M.S. Lion.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Lake, of Edmonton, Middlesex [G.B., 1711] on 10 November 1924.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He was Chief of Staff to Commander-in-Chief of Portsmouth between 1939 and 1942.² He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM George VI in 1942.² He was Chief of New Zealand Naval Staff between 1942 and 1945.² He was awarded the Commander, U.S. Legion of Merit.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1945.²

     Willoughby Alfred Lake was born on 31 August 1925.² He was the son of Captain Sir Atwell Henry Lake, 9th Bt. and Kathleen Marion Turner.² He married Elizabeth Elsie Faith Clarke, daughter of Sir Rupert Turner Havelock Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Elise Florence Tucker, on 13 September 1952.² He died in 1986.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of officer between 1944 and 1947 in the Royal Air Force.²

     Sir Richard Henry Clay, 7th Bt. was born on 2 June 1940.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Felix Clay, 6th Bt. and Phyllis Mary Paramore.² He married Alison Mary Fife, daughter of Dr. James Gordon Fife, on 14 September 1963.¹ He died on 28 November 2020 at age 80.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.) in 1966.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Clay, of Fulwell Lodge, Middlesex [U.K., 1841] in July 1985.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Copse, Shiplate Road, Bleadon, Avon, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Dr. James Gordon Fife lived at Summer Hill, Alde House Drive, Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Alison Mary Fife is the daughter of Dr. James Gordon Fife.² She married Sir Richard Henry Clay, 7th Bt., son of Sir Henry Felix Clay, 6th Bt. and Phyllis Mary Paramore, on 14 September 1963.¹
     From 14 September 1963, her married name became Clay.

     Sir Charles Richard Clay, 8th Bt. was born on 18 December 1965.¹ He is the son of Sir Richard Henry Clay, 7th Bt. and Alison Mary Fife.²
     He was educated at Manor School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from University of East Anglia, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Clay, of Fulwell Lodge, Middlesex [U.K., 1841] on 28 November 2020.³

     Thomas Henry Clay was born on 28 July 1967.¹ He is the son of Sir Richard Henry Clay, 7th Bt. and Alison Mary Fife.²

     James Felix Clay was born on 13 April 1969.¹ He is the son of Sir Richard Henry Clay, 7th Bt. and Alison Mary Fife.²
