James Norton and Isabella Lowndes.1 He married Catherine Charlotte Lowndes-Stone, daughter of William Charles Lowndes-Stone-Norton, on 18 September 1862.1 He married, secondly, Marie Annie Dow, daughter of George Dow, on 4 November 1891.2 He died on 12 January 1895 at age 55.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.1 He lived at Langdon House, Devon, EnglandG.1 He lived at Anningsley Park, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He lived at Brightwell Park, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
