     Margaret Scott was born in 1755.¹ She was the daughter of George Scott and Mary Bidwell.¹ She married John Weldon Tarleton, son of John Tarleton and Barbara Mitchell, on 4 December 1779 at Ferbane, County Offaly, Ireland^G.¹ She died in 1824.¹
     From 4 December 1779, her married name became Tarleton.¹

     John Tarleton was born in 1711.¹ He married Barbara Mitchell.¹ He died in 1758.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in August 1758.¹
     His last will was dated 1750.¹

     Cecilia Dering was born in 1682.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edward Dering, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Cholmley.¹ She married George Scott, son of Sir Thomas Scott and Caroline Carteret, at Scotts Hall, Kent, England^G.¹ She died in 1764.¹
     Her married name became Scott.¹
