     Marie Julie Barnett was born in 1864.1 She was the daughter of Emmanuel Barnett.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Edgar Assheton Iremonger, son of Colonel Harry Edward Iremonger and Emma Georgina Freeland Burt, on 2 December 1887 at Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1 She and Colonel Edgar Assheton Iremonger were divorced in February 1900.1 She married, secondly, Frank Courage, son of John Courage and Susan Hawes, in 1903 at New Zealand.1 She died on 21 March 1953.1
     From 2 December 1887, her married name became Iremonger.1 From 1903, her married name became Courage.2
