     Hon. Henry Thomas Clifford was born posthumously on 22 August 1732.2 He was the son of Hugh Clifford, 3rd Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Elizabeth Blount.3 He married Hon. Barbara Aston, daughter of James Aston, 5th Lord Aston of Forfar and Barbara Maria Talbot, on 2 February 1762 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 16 July 1787 at age 54.
     He was also known as Thomas Clifford.3

     Sir Thomas Hugh Constable, 1st Bt. was born on 4 December 1762.2 He was the son of Hon. Henry Thomas Clifford and Hon. Barbara Aston.1 He married Mary MacDonald Chichester, daughter of John Chichester and Mary MacDonald, on 17 June 1791.2 He died on 25 February 1829 at age 66.2
     He was given the name of Thomas Hugh Clifford at birth.2 He was created 1st Baronet Clifford, of Tixall, Staffordshire [U.K.] on 22 May 1815, at the request of King Louis XVIII of France.1,2 In 1821 his name was legally changed to Thomas Hugh Constable by sign manual.1,2
