     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Durham Light Infantry.¹

     Daisy Aileen Dobbs was born on 8 August 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Alexander Fairlie Dobbs and Marianne Gage.²
     She lived in 1976 at Malvern lodge, Hillbrow, Liss, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Alfred Dobbs was born circa 1843 at India^G.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Richard Stewart Dobbs and Jane Margaret Cathcart.³ He died on 8 April 1871 at Shemoga, Mysore, India^G.^1,2
     He was with the Indian Forest Department.¹

     Reverend Arthur Macauly Dobbs was born on 18 December 1845 at Mysore, India^G.^1,2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Richard Stewart Dobbs and Jane Margaret Cathcart.³ He married Katherine Sarah Reid in 1874.¹ He died on 31 January 1889 at age 43.¹
     He was the Rector at Loughgall, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹

     Katherine Sarah Reid married Reverend Arthur Macauly Dobbs, son of Maj.-Gen. Richard Stewart Dobbs and Jane Margaret Cathcart, in 1874.¹
