     William Dobbin was born in 1788.² He was the son of Oliver Dobbin and Elizabeth King.² He married Anne Martin, daughter of William Martin, on 9 September 1819.² He died on 25 May 1852.²

     Elizabeth Dobbin was born on 3 December 1828.² She was the daughter of William Dobbin and Anne Martin.² She married John Gillespie Deacon, son of John Deacon and Elizabeth Gillespie, on 15 June 1853.¹ She died on 21 September 1904 at age 75.¹
     From 15 June 1853, her married name became Deacon.

     William Oliver Deacon was born on 22 August 1854.¹ He was the son of John Gillespie Deacon and Elizabeth Dobbin.² He died on 24 January 1884 at age 29, without issue.¹

     Robert Samuel Deacon was born on 6 March 1856.¹ He was the son of John Gillespie Deacon and Elizabeth Dobbin.² He married Florence Smith.¹ He died on 7 March 1937 at age 81 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹
     He was an accountant.¹ He lived at Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He lived at Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹

     Florence Smith married Robert Samuel Deacon, son of John Gillespie Deacon and Elizabeth Dobbin.¹ She died on 18 December 1948.¹
     Her married name became Deacon.

     Margaret Leonora Deacon was born on 3 October 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Samuel Deacon and Florence Smith.² She married Alfred Victor Carroll on 6 November 1926.¹ She died on 1 February 1973 at age 82.¹
     From 6 November 1926, her married name became Carroll.
