     Caroline Elizabeth Pook was the daughter of Fred Pook.¹ She married, firstly, John Gillespie Deacon, son of John Gillespie Deacon and Elizabeth Dobbin, on 4 March 1891.¹ She married, secondly, John Davis-Smith on 2 May 1908.¹ She died on 30 December 1951.¹
     From 4 March 1891, her married name became Deacon. From 2 May 1908, her married name became Davis-Smith.¹

     John Nissen Deacon was born on 4 February 1892.² He was the son of John Gillespie Deacon and Caroline Elizabeth Pook.² He married Enid Margery Cawley, daughter of George James Cawley, on 2 January 1940.¹ He and Enid Margery Cawley were divorced in 1950.² He died on 31 January 1959 at age 66.¹
     He was educated at Epsom College, Epsom, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from London Hospital, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War in 1914.¹ He graduated from London Hospital, London, England^G, in 1915 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.¹ He was Staff Surgeon to GHQ, Cairo between 1919 and 1920.¹ He was Consultant, Nose & Throat Surgeon at Edgware General Hospital, Edgware, London, England^G.¹ He was the Medical Director between 1929 and 1957 at Edgware General Hospital, Edgware, London, England^G.¹

     William Oliver Deacon was born on 27 July 1893.¹ He was the son of John Gillespie Deacon and Caroline Elizabeth Pook.² He married Letitia Victoria Beatrice de Jesus, daughter of F. V. de Jesus, on 1 August 1925 at Bangkok, Thailand^G.^1,3 He died on 24 May 1947 at age 53, as a result of internment by the Japanese, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Epsom College, Epsom, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was a partner of Butler & Webster, engineers at Bangkok, Thailand^G.¹

     F. V. de Jesus lived at Villa Flora, Bangkok, Thailand^G.¹

     Letitia Victoria Beatrice de Jesus was the daughter of F. V. de Jesus.² She married William Oliver Deacon, son of John Gillespie Deacon and Caroline Elizabeth Pook, on 1 August 1925 at Bangkok, Thailand^G.^1,3
     From 1 August 1925, her married name became Deacon. She lived in 1976 at 11 Southfields Court, Southfields Road, Eastboume, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Marjorie Eileen Hilary Deacon was born on 2 October 1894.¹ She was the daughter of John Gillespie Deacon and Caroline Elizabeth Pook.² She married, firstly, Dennis Seton Vernon, son of Thomas Vernon, on 8 April 1924.¹ She married, secondly, Albert Harvey, son of John Gourley Harvey, on 14 October 1939.¹ She died on 12 October 1967 at age 73.¹
     From 8 April 1924, her married name became Vernon. From 14 October 1939, her married name became Harvey.¹

     Thomas Vernon lived at Wellington, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Dennis Seton Vernon was the son of Thomas Vernon.² He married Marjorie Eileen Hilary Deacon, daughter of John Gillespie Deacon and Caroline Elizabeth Pook, on 8 April 1924.¹ He died on 11 March 1958.¹
