     Rachel Mary Hedley was the daughter of Major Ivor Mathews Hedley.² She married Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough, son of Henry Astell Law, 7th Baron Ellenborough and Helen Dorothy Lovatt, on 9 October 1953.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     After her marriage, Rachel Mary Hedley was styled as Baroness Ellenborough on 9 October 1953. From 9 October 1953, her married name became Law.

     Major Ivor Mathews Hedley gained the rank of Major in the 17th Lancers.¹

     Rupert Edward Henry Law, 9th Baron Ellenborough was born on 28 March 1955.² He is the son of Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough and Rachel Mary Hedley.^1,3 He married Hon. Grania Janet Gray Boardman, daughter of Thomas Gray Boardman, Baron Boardman and Norah Mary Deirdre Gough, in 1981.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He retired from the military, with the rank of Major, late of the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was with Coutts & Company in 1988.² He lived in 2003 at Bridge House, Clipston, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron Ellenborough, of Ellenborough, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1802] on 7 June 2013.⁴

     Hon. Edmund Ivor Cecil Law was born on 21 December 1956.¹ He is the son of Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough and Rachel Mary Hedley. He married Susan Claire Baker, daughter of Derek Baker, in 1982.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Hon. Charles Adrian Christian Towry Law was born on 7 November 1960.¹ He is the son of Richard Edward Cecil Law, 8th Baron Ellenborough and Rachel Mary Hedley.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from York University, York, Yorkshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Caroline Aileen Methuen was born on 27 September 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Laurence Paul Methuen and Lady Maureen Margaret Brabazon.² She married Charles Lloyd Fox, son of Philip Hamilton Fox, in 1988.¹
     She was given the name of Caroline Aileen Methuen-Campbell at birth.² In 1969 her name was legally changed to Caroline Aileen Methuen by Deed Poll.² From 1988, her married name became Fox.

     Hon. Ellen Seymour Methuen was born on 23 November 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford.² She married Captain Cyril Gwynne Sedley Barnes, son of Robert Barnes, on 1 November 1924.¹ She died in 1985 at London, England.³
     Her married name became Barnes.

     Captain Cyril Gwynne Sedley Barnes was the son of Robert Barnes.¹ He married Hon. Ellen Seymour Methuen, daughter of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford, on 1 November 1924.² He died on 22 December 1954.²

     Robert Barnes lived at Harley Street, London, England^G.²

     Archibald William Hamilton was born on 4 April 1847.² He was the son of William John Hamilton and Hon. Margaret Frances Florence Dillon.^1,2 He married Elizabeth Ann Billyard, daughter of W. Billyard, in 1869.² He died on 5 January 1886 at age 38.^1,2
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.²
