     Charles Eyre was born on 13 October 1806.1 He is the son of John Archer Houblon.1 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Leyborne-Popham, daughter of General Edward William Leyborne-Popham and Elizabeth Andrew.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Charlotte Randolph, daughter of Reverend Thomas Randolph and Caroline Diana Macdonald, on 14 January 1857 at Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, England.1 He died on 20 July 1886 at age 79.1
     He was given the name of Charles Archer Houblon at birth.3 He lived at Welford Park, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He was also known as Charles Eyre.3
