     Dr. Norman Henry Gibbs was the son of W. B. Gibbs.² He married Joan Frances Ruth Leslie-Melville, daughter of Norman Victor Leslie-Melville and Dorothea Stead, on 18 January 1941.¹ He and Joan Frances Ruth Leslie-Melville were divorced in 1954.¹ He died in 1990.¹
