     Lord Montagu William Graham was born on 2 February 1807.2 He was the son of James Graham, 3rd Duke of Montrose and Lady Caroline Maria Montagu.1,2 He married Hon. Harriet Anne Bateman-Hanbury, daughter of William Bateman-Hanbury, 1st Baron Bateman of Shobdon and Elizabeth Chichester, on 14 February 1867.1 He died on 21 June 1878 at age 71, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Grantham and Hereford.2
