     Jocelyn Richenda Gammell Pease was born on 22 October 1925.1 She was the daughter of Michael Stewart Pease and Hon. Helen Bowen Wedgwood.1 She married Sir Andrew Fielding Huxley, son of Leonard Huxley and Rosalind Bruce, on 5 July 1947.1 She died on 29 March 2003 at age 77.2
     She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 From 5 July 1947, her married name became Huxley.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cambridgeshire in 1956.1
