     Edward French Becher was born on 23 April 1854 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Drake Becher and Elizabeth Susanna Machin.¹ He married Charlotte Elizabeth Cranfield in 1894 at Kensington, London, England^G.¹ He died on 25 February 1928 at age 73 at Hotel Regina, Capri, Italy^G, from pneumonia.¹
     He was educated between August 1865 and December 1869.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1873 in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.¹

     Charlotte Elizabeth Cranfield married Edward French Becher, son of Reverend John Drake Becher and Elizabeth Susanna Machin, in 1894 at Kensington, London, England^G.¹ She died on 22 March 1960 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England^G.¹
     From 1894, her married name became Becher.¹

     Edward Cranfield Becher was born on 6 October 1897.¹ He was the son of Edward French Becher and Charlotte Elizabeth Cranfield.¹ He married Violet May McCausland in 1934.¹ He died in 1982.¹
     He was educated between September 1910 and December 1913 at Blundell’s School, Tiverton, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of in the 2nd Company, Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Violet May McCausland was born on 11 August 1889.¹ She married Edward Cranfield Becher, son of Edward French Becher and Charlotte Elizabeth Cranfield, in 1934.¹ She died in 1971.¹
     From 1934, her married name became Becher.¹

     Cranfield Frederick Becher was born on 26 December 1855 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Drake Becher and Elizabeth Susanna Machin.¹ He died on 28 November 1856 at Hillhouse, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Susan Vowell was born circa 1798 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Major Richard Vowell and Anne Evans Hamilton.¹ She married Reverend Michael Henry Becher, son of Michael Henry Becher and Catherine French, on 24 March 1818 at St. Finbarrs, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ She died on 27 December 1853 at The Vicarage, Barnoldby-le-Brock, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹
     From 24 March 1818, her married name became Becher.¹

     Major Richard Vowell is the son of Thomas Vowell and Thomazin O’Callaghan.¹ He married Anne Evans Hamilton, daughter of Joshua Hamilton and Mary Cox.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 66th Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹

     Anne Evans Hamilton is the daughter of Joshua Hamilton and Mary Cox.¹ She married Major Richard Vowell, son of Thomas Vowell and Thomazin O’Callaghan.¹
     Her married name became Vowell.¹

     Catherine Vowell was the daughter of Major Richard Vowell and Anne Evans Hamilton.¹ She died on 20 January 1854 at The Vicarage, Barnoldby-le-Brock, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹
