     Mary Ann Becher was born on 15 May 1838 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Drake Becher and Elizabeth Susanna Machin.¹ She married Reverend John Ash Gaussen on 7 November 1859 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ She died on 17 May 1860 at age 22.¹
     From 7 November 1859, her married name became Gaussen.¹

     Mary Becher was born in 1758.² She was the daughter of John Townsend Becher and Mary O’Donovan.¹ She married William Wrixon, son of Henry Wrixon and Anna Mansfield, in July 1778, with additional issue.¹
     She lived in 1770 at Creagh, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ From July 1778, her married name became Wrixon.¹

     William Wrixon was born in 1756.² He was the son of Henry Wrixon and Anna Mansfield.³ He married Mary Becher, daughter of John Townsend Becher and Mary O’Donovan, in July 1778, with additional issue.¹ He died in January 1847 at Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Duhallow Cavalry.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)⁴ He lived at Cecilstown, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir William Wrixon-Becher, 1st Bt. was born on 31 July 1780.² He was the son of William Wrixon and Mary Becher.¹ He married Elizabeth O’Neill, daughter of John O’Neill, on 18 December 1819.² He died on 29 October 1850 at age 70 at Ballygiblin, Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mallow, County Cork.² He was created 1st Baronet Wrixon-Becher, of Ballygiblin, co. Cork [U.K.] on 30 September 1831.² He lived at Ballygiblin, Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Michael Henry Becher was born circa 1735.² He was the son of John Becher and Mary Townshend.¹ He married Catherine French, daughter of Colonel Savage French and Mary Twogood, on 10 January 1767 at St. Nicholas Church, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2 He died in August 1778.²

     Catherine French was born on 12 September 1741.² She was the daughter of Colonel Savage French and Mary Twogood.^1,2 She married Michael Henry Becher, son of John Becher and Mary Townshend, on 10 January 1767 at St. Nicholas Church, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.^1,2
     From 10 January 1767, her married name became Becher.¹

     Colonel Savage French was the son of James French. He married Mary Twogood.²
     He lived at Marino, County Cork, Ireland^G.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³

     Reverend John Drake Becher was born on 24 April 1806.² He was the son of Reverend John Thomas Becher and Mary Drake Becher.¹ He married Elizabeth Susanna Machin, daughter of Henry Machin, on 30 August 1836, with other issue not listed.^1,2 He died on 8 August 1864 at age 58 at Hill House, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.²
     He was educated at Southwell Grammar School, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² He graduated in 1828 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was ordained in 1829.² He graduated in 1831 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Vicar between 1835 and 1864 at South Muskham, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^1,2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Hill House, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Susanna Machin was born in 1814.² She was the daughter of Henry Machin.¹ She married Reverend John Drake Becher, son of Reverend John Thomas Becher and Mary Drake Becher, on 30 August 1836, with other issue not listed.^1,2 She died on 11 December 1884 at Hill House, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England^G.²
     From 30 August 1836, her married name became Becher.¹
