     Edward Gordon Whitley was the son of Edward B. Whitley.¹ He married Alice Mary Bland, daughter of Lieutenant Humphrey Loftus Bland and Muriel Elsie Scott, on 9 September 1924.¹ He and Alice Mary Bland were divorced in 1935.¹ He died on 27 August 1961.¹

     Major Edward Clifford Whitley was born on 4 May 1926.¹ He was the son of Edward Gordon Whitley and Alice Mary Bland.¹ He married Maeve Mary Bourke, daughter of Francis Stephen Bourke, on 28 January 1958.¹ He died on 10 March 1990 at age 63.²
