     Bridget Gunning was the daughter of Barnaby Gunning and Anne Staunton.¹ She married Charles Blakeney, son of Thomas Blakeney and Sarah Burke, on 6 March 1761.¹ She died on 15 September 1776.¹
     From 6 March 1761, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney was baptised on 7 June 1763.¹ He was the son of Charles Blakeney and Bridget Gunning.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Bradley, daughter of Thomas Bradley.¹ He married, secondly, Magdalen Ireland, daughter of de Courcy Ireland and Susannah Stanley.²
     He retired from the military in 1796, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the Royal Marine Light Infantry, he was retired because of wounds received.¹ He lived at Greenhall, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹

     Frances Bradley was the daughter of Thomas Bradley.¹ She married Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney, son of Charles Blakeney and Bridget Gunning.¹ She died in 1820, aged 50.¹ She was buried on 25 April 1820 at Roscommon, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹
     Her married name became Blakeney.¹
