     Sarah Burke was the daughter of Redmond Burke.¹ She married Thomas Blakeney, son of Lieutenant Edward Blakeney and Deborah Staunton, in 1715.¹ She was buried on 18 February 1763 at Tuam Cathedral, Tuam, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹
     From 1715, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Redmond Burke lived at Currando, Cornacuogh, Tyaquin, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹ He might have been named Robert Burke.¹

     Edward Blakeney was born in 1716.¹ He was the son of Thomas Blakeney and Sarah Burke.¹ He died in 1799.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 29 June 1799.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was the Private Secretary in 1748 to General Lord Blakeney, the Governer of Minorca.¹ He held the office of Consul at Nice in 1755.¹ He held the office of Commissary-General for the Army. He was granted a pension by the Secretary of State “for his valuable services to his country.”¹ He lived at Currando, Cornacuogh, Tyaquin, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at 71 Newman Street, London, England^G.¹ His last will was dated 15 March 1799.

     Thomas Blakeney was the son of Thomas Blakeney and Sarah Burke.¹ He married Margaret Wallace on 29 January 1760 in a childless marriage.¹ He was buried on 23 July 1789.¹
     He lived at Feigh, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at St. Andrew’s Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
