     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1794 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-law in 1799.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1832 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived at Curraghmore, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at 9 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Catherine Anne Owens was the daughter of Samuel Lee Owens.¹ A settlement for the marriage between her and Robert Blakeney was made on 18 January 1806.¹
     From 18 January 1806, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Samuel Lee Owens lived at Dundermot Lodge, Drumatemple, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Anne Blakeney was the daughter of Robert Blakeney and Catherine Anne Owens.¹ She married John Henry Mitchell, they had one son and one daughter.¹

     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1795 in the 84th Regiment of Foot (Yorkshire and Lancashire.)¹ He fought in the Capture of Cape Town.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 19th Foot (Yorkshire Regiment.)¹ He fought in the Kandyan War.¹

     Anne Blakeney was born in 1762.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Blakeney and Bridget Gunning.¹ She married Colonel Hon. Richard St. Leger, son of St. Leger St. Leger, 1st Viscount Doneraile and Mary Barry, on 20 July 1779.² She died on 19 July 1809.¹
     From 20 July 1779, her married name became St. Leger.¹
