     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Nicholson was the daughter of Molyneux Nicholson.¹ She married John Barton, son of Venerable Edward Barton and Margaret Coleman, in 1840.¹
     From 1840, her married name became Barton.¹

     Molyneux Nicholson graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He lived at Westport, County Mayo, Ireland^G.¹

     Edward Barton was the son of John Barton and Mary Nicholson.¹ He died young.¹

     Mary Edith Turner was the daughter of George Turner and Matilda Eliza (?)¹ She married William Snodgrass Jacob.¹ She died in 1952 at Mosman, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
     Her married name became Jacob.¹

     Charlotte Frances Yates Peel was born on 11 March 1859 at Warton, Lancashire, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Lt. Col. Edmund Yates Peel and Maria Frances Knighton Chadwick.^1,2 She married Molyneux Barton, son of John Barton and Mary Nicholson, on 10 August 1882.¹ She died on 19 January 1931 at age 71.¹
     From 10 August 1882, her married name became Barton.¹

     Lt. Col. Edmund Yates Peel was born on 24 July 1824.² He was the son of General Rt. Hon. Jonathan Peel and Lady Alicia Jane Kennedy.³ He married Maria Frances Knighton Chadwick, daughter of Richard Chadwick, in 1848.² He died before April 1900.² His will was proven (by probate) on 24 April 1900.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 85th Regiment.⁴ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 12th Regiment of Turks.⁵ He held the office of Resident Magistrate of Letterkenny.⁴

     Captain Cecil Molyneux Barton was born on 12 October 1883.¹ He was the son of Molyneux Barton and Charlotte Frances Yates Peel.¹ He married Una Alys Harvey, daughter of George Morgan Harvey, in 1920.¹ He died on 29 March 1962 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.)¹ He was admitted to King’s Inns in 1906 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Special Reserve of Officers.¹ He entered Colonial Service in 1913 as an Assistant District Commissioner in Kenya^G.¹ He was the Resident Magistrate between 1914 and 1922 in Kenya^G.¹ He was the Legal Advisor between 1922 and 1929 at Gambia^G, and a member of the Executive and Legislative Councils.¹ He held the office of Circuit Judge, Ashanti and Northern Territories, Gold Coast between 1929 and 1934.¹ He held the office of Judge of the Supreme Court of Gold Coast Colony.¹ He held the office of Member, West African Court of Appeal.¹ He lived at Farnham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Una Alys Harvey was the daughter of George Morgan Harvey.¹ She married Captain Cecil Molyneux Barton, son of Molyneux Barton and Charlotte Frances Yates Peel, in 1920.¹
     From 1920, her married name became Barton.¹

     George Morgan Harvey lived at Eburru, Kenya^G.¹
