     He held the office of Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1569.¹ He was Knight of the Shire in 1571.¹ He lived at Iron Acton, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Michael David Alexander Douglas-Home, 16th Earl of Home was born on 30 November 1987.¹ He is the son of David Alexander Cospatrick Douglas-Home, 15th Earl of Home and Jane Margaret Williams-Wynne.¹ He married Sally Antoinette Underhill, daughter of G/Capt. Gregory B. P. Underhill and Olivia R. Canning, in 2017.²
     He was styled as Lord Dunglass between 1995 and 2022.¹ He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1998.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Douglas of Douglas, co. Lanark [U.K., 1875] on 22 August 2022. He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Home [S., 1605] on 22 August 2022. He succeeded as the 21st Lord Home [S., 1473] on 22 August 2022. He succeeded as the 16th Lord Dunglas [S., 1605] on 22 August 2022.

     Anne Verney is the daughter of Sir Ralph Verney and Elizabeth Bray.^2,3 She married Sir Nicholas Poyntz, son of Sir Nicholas Poyntz and Joan Berkeley, circa 12 May 1555.¹
     From circa 12 May 1555, her married name became Poyntz.

     Isabella Watson was born on 18 December 1992.² She is the daughter of Richard Ian Watson and Henrietta Butterwick.¹

     Sir John Sydenham was born in 1494.² He was the son of John Sydenham and Elizabeth Touchet.² He married Ursula Brydges, daughter of Sir Giles Brugge, 6th Lord Chaundos and Isabel Baynham, in 1515.² He died on 16 April 1557.²
     He lived at Brimpton, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Ursula Sydenham is the daughter of Sir John Sydenham and Ursula Brydges.^2,3 She married Sir John Poyntz, son of Sir Nicholas Poyntz and Anne Verney.¹
     Her married name became Poyntz.

     Sir Robert Poyntz was baptised on 26 October 1588.² He was the son of Sir John Poyntz and Elizabeth Sydenham.² He married, secondly, Cecilia Smith.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Gibbons, daughter of Gervase Gibbons, on 13 June 1604.¹ He died before July 1666.² His will was proven (by probate) on 12 July 1666.²
     He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1625.¹ He was Knight of the Shire in 1625.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Glocuestershire in 1637.¹

     Gervase Gibbons lived at Benenden, Kent, England^G.¹

     Frances Gibbons was the daughter of Gervase Gibbons.² She married Sir Robert Poyntz, son of Sir John Poyntz and Elizabeth Sydenham, on 13 June 1604.¹ She died on 13 March 1637/38.²
     From 13 June 1604, her married name became Poyntz.

     Grissell Poyntz was baptised on 7 November 1608.² She was the daughter of Sir Robert Poyntz and Frances Gibbons.² She married Richard Porter, son of Sir Thomas Porter, in 1640.¹
     From 1640, her married name became Porter.¹
