     Sir Louis Forbes Fergusson was born on 5 September 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Forbes.² He married Elizabeth Frances Ethel Lewis, daughter of Seth Lewis, in 1922.¹ He died on 10 January 1962 at age 83.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Clerk of the Council and Keeper of the Records for the Duchy of Lancaster between 1927 and 1945.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1945.¹

     Seth Lewis lived at Old Woking, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Frances Ethel Lewis was the daughter of Seth Lewis.² She married Sir Louis Forbes Fergusson, son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Forbes, in 1922.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     From 1922, her married name became Fergusson.

     Christine Forbes Fergusson was born on 24 February 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Louis Forbes Fergusson and Elizabeth Frances Ethel Lewis.² She married Charles Raymond Evans in 1966.¹
     From 1966, her married name became Evans. She lived in 2003 at 6 Fabye House, Cumberland Road, Kew, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Charles Raymond Evans married Christine Forbes Fergusson, daughter of Sir Louis Forbes Fergusson and Elizabeth Frances Ethel Lewis, in 1966.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     John Hopkinson was born before 1667.¹ He was the son of James Hopkinson and Anne (?)¹

     Alice Fanny Simpson was the daughter of John Price Simpson.² She married Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Fergusson, 1st Bt. and Helen Hamilton Ranken, on 1 June 1886.¹ She died on 6 April 1926.¹
     From 1 June 1886, her married name became Fergusson.¹

     Lieutenant James Adam Hamilton Fergusson was born on 22 March 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson.² He died in September 1914 at age 22, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the First Battle of Aisne in September 1914.¹

     Charles Hamilton Fergusson was born on 9 August 1894.¹ He was the son of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson.² He died on 1 January 1953 at age 58 at Kenya^G, murdered by natives on his farm.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Northamptonshire Regiment.¹
