He was a practising solicitor in 1913.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hulton, of Hulton Park, Bolton-le-Moors, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1905] on 27 June 1943.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire in 1944.2
