Jean Abernethy is the daughter of George Abernethy, 7th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Margaret Stewart.1,2 She married, secondly, George Gordon of Gight.3 She married, firstly, Sir John Lindsay of Kinfauns, son of Henry Lindsay, 13th Earl of Crawford and Helen Chisholm, circa 8 December 1608.1
     Her married name became Gordon.3 From circa 8 December 1608, her married name became Lindsay.

George Fraser, 15th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy

     George Fraser, 15th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born on 10 October 1720.1 He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 13th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Lady Mary Gordon.1 He married Helen Gordon, daughter of John Gordon of Kinellar and Hon. Henrietta Fraser, on 5 June 1756.1 He died on 30 August 1781 at age 60.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.1 He succeeded as the 15th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] on 10 October 1751.1

     Alexander Guthrie was born circa 1515.2 He was the son of Sir William Guthrie of Lunan.3 He married Janet Henderson, daughter of George Henderson, 2nd of Fordell and Katherine Adamson.4 He died circa 1582.2
     He held the office of Town Clerk of Edinburgh.1

Hon. Harriet Sarah Loyd1

     Hon. Harriet Sarah Loyd was the daughter of Samuel Jones Loyd, 1st and last Baron Overstone and Harriet Wright.2 She married Lt.-Col. Robert James Lindsay-Loyd, 1st and last Baron Wantage of Lockinge, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir James Lindsay and Anne Trotter, on 17 November 1858.1 She died on 9 August 1920.1
     From 17 November 1858, her married name became Lindsay-Loyd.1 After her marriage, Hon. Harriet Sarah Loyd was styled as Baroness Wantage of Lockinge on 23 June 1885.

Samuel Jones Loyd, 1st and last Baron Overstone1

     Samuel Jones Loyd, 1st and last Baron Overstone was born on 25 September 1796.2 He was the son of Lewis Loyd and Sarah Jones.2 He married Harriet Wright, daughter of Ichabod Wright and Harriet Maria Day, on 10 August 1829.2 He died on 17 November 1883 at age 87.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hythe between 1819 and 1826.2 He was created 1st Baron Overstone, of Overstone and Fotheringay, both co. Northapton [U.K.] on 5 March 1850.2
