     From 27 February 1836, her married name became Erskine.

     Alexander Buchan, 7th of Auchmacoy was the son of Alexander Buchan, 6th of Auchmacoy and Elizabeth Seton.1 He married, firstly, Beatrix Annand, daughter of Thomas Annand of Auchterellon.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Fraser, daughter of Thomas Fraser of Durris, in 1598.1 He died in 1625.1
     On 23 July 1598 his lands were erected into a barony.1
     He had another younger son.1
