     Janet Macfie Blaikie was born on 22 November 1879 at 12 Blackford Road, Newington, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Biggar Blaikie and Janet Marshall Macfie.¹ She married, firstly, Reginald William Henry Crawford-Leslie, son of Colonel Henry Crawford of Rothie Norman and Susan Annabella Edith Hunter, on 2 July 1902.¹ She married, secondly, Alexander Gordon Duff, son of Edward Alexander James Duff and Amy Katherine Barnett, on 24 July 1917 at St. Peter’s Church, Cranley Gardens, London, England^G.¹
     From 2 July 1902, her married name became Crawford-Leslie.¹ From 24 July 1917, her married name became Duff.¹

     Mary Evelyn Duff was born on 27 May 1918 at Harbledown, Kent, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon Duff and Janet Macfie Blaikie.¹ She married Charles Haviland Hillman on 9 November 1939 at Cranley Gardens, London, England^G.¹ She died on 8 May 1999 at age 80 at Harlow, Essex, England^G.¹
