     Blanche Brooke was the daughter of Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt. and Blanche Weston.¹ She married Reverend Charles Dixon Hoste, son of Maj.-Gen. Dixon Edward Hoste and Mary Scott, on 30 July 1907 at Almondbury, Yorkshire, England^G.^1,2 She died in August 1964.¹
     From 30 July 1907, her married name became Hoste.¹

     Reverend Charles Dixon Hoste was born on 7 February 1872 at Southampton, Hampshire, England^G.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Dixon Edward Hoste and Mary Scott.^1,2 He married Blanche Brooke, daughter of Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt. and Blanche Weston, on 30 July 1907 at Almondbury, Yorkshire, England^G.^1,2 He died on 4 April 1957 at age 85.¹

     Mary Scott was born in 1837 at Colney, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Dixon Edward Hoste, son of Colonel Sir George Charles Hoste and Mary Burroughes, in 1857 at Henstead, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     From 1857, her married name became Hoste.¹

     Dorothy Brooke was the daughter of Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt. and Blanche Weston.¹ She married Colonel Walter Henry Patrick Law, son of Patrick Francis Law, on 12 December 1905.¹ She died on 13 August 1948, leaving issue.¹
     From 12 December 1905, her married name became Law.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex between 1922 and 1938.¹

     Colonel Walter Henry Patrick Law was the son of Patrick Francis Law.¹ He married Dorothy Brooke, daughter of Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt. and Blanche Weston, on 12 December 1905.¹ He died on 8 August 1956.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Knight, Order of Leopold of Belgium.¹

     Major Richard Weston Brooke was born on 29 April 1921.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Weston Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Margery Jean Geddes.¹ He died on 19 April 1958 at age 36, drowned at sea.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Seaforth Highlanders.¹

     Elizabeth Jean Brooke was born on 10 April 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Robert Weston Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Margery Jean Geddes.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Malcolm Buist, son of Colonel Frederick Braid Buist, on 8 December 1939.¹
     From 8 December 1939, her married name became Buist.¹ She lived in 2003 at Katewell, Evanton, Ross-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Malcolm Buist was the son of Colonel Frederick Braid Buist.¹ He married Elizabeth Jean Brooke, daughter of Sir Robert Weston Brooke, 2nd Bt. and Margery Jean Geddes, on 8 December 1939.¹ He died on 20 April 1965.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹

     Colonel Frederick Braid Buist lived at Scone, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹
