     From 3 July 1860, her married name became Brooke.¹

     David Dewar lived at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Mary Priestley was the daughter of James Priestley.¹ She married, firstly, Reverend Charles Farrar Forster before 1902.¹ She married, thirdly, Sir Thomas Brooke, 1st and last Bt., son of Thomas Brooke and Ann Ingham, on 30 September 1902.¹ She died on 12 March 1938.¹
     From before 1902, her married name became Forster.¹ From 30 September 1902, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Reverend Charles Farrar Forster married Mary Priestley, daughter of James Priestley, before 1902.¹ He died before 1902.¹
     He was the Vicar at Beckwithshaw, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     James Priestley lived at Bankfield, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Francis Thomas Brooke was born on 25 August 1855.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Brooke, 1st and last Bt. and Eliza Vickerman.¹ He died on 27 August 1872 at age 17, without issue.¹

     Blanche Weston was the daughter of Major Charles Samuel Weston.¹ She married Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Brooke and Ann Ingham, on 7 January 1873. She died on 27 November 1924.¹
     From 7 January 1873, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Major Charles Samuel Weston lived at Morvich, Sutherland, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 36th Native Infantry, indian Army.¹

     John Weston Brooke was born on 2 July 1880.¹ He was the son of Sir John Arthur Brooke, 1st Bt. and Blanche Weston.¹ He died on 24 December 1908 at age 28 at Tibet^G, killed.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹
