     Rose Boyd was the daughter of Alexander Boyd and Hon. Anna Maria Acheson.¹ She married Hugh Boyd.¹

     Hon. Anna Maria Acheson is the daughter of Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill and Mary Richardson.^1,2 She married, firstly, Alexander Boyd.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend Henry Maxwell, son of Captain Robert Maxwell.²
     Her married name became Maxwell.² Her married name became Boyd.¹

     Alexander Boyd married Hon. Anna Maria Acheson, daughter of Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill and Mary Richardson.¹
     He lived at Ballycastle, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir John Augustus Boyd, 4th Bt. was born on 30 July 1819.¹ He was the son of Sir John Boyd, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Boyd.¹ He married Honora Mary Calmady, daughter of Charles Biggs Calmady and Emily Greenwood, on 14 May 1850 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon, England^G.^1,2 He died on 7 August 1857 at age 38.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in December 1857.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the capture of St. Jean d’Acre in 1840.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1845.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Boyd, of Danson, co. Kent [G.B., 1775] on 19 January 1855.¹

     Honora Mary Calmady was born on 27 February 1822 at Bramdean, Hampshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Charles Biggs Calmady and Emily Greenwood.^1,2 She married Sir John Augustus Boyd, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Boyd, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Boyd, on 14 May 1850 at Plympton St. Mary, Devon, England^G.^1,2 She died on 7 March 1875 at age 53 at Ballycastle, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹
     From 14 May 1850, her married name became Boyd.¹

     Charles Biggs Calmady was born circa 1791 at Bishop Stock, Hampshire, England^G.² He married Emily Greenwood on 28 March 1816.² He died in 1855 at Plympton, Devon, England^G.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³ He lived at Langdon Hall, Devon, England^G.¹

     Sir Harley Hugh Boyd, 5th Bt. was born on 2 November 1853.¹ He was the son of Sir John Augustus Boyd, 4th Bt. and Honora Mary Calmady.¹ He died on 2 June 1876 at age 22, on board the Teuton, off the coast of St. Helena, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Boyd, of Danson, co. Kent [G.B., 1775] on 7 March 1875.¹

     Sir Alexander Walter Boyd, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 June 1934.¹ He was the son of Dr. Cecil Anderson Boyd and Marjorie Catherine Kinloch.² He married Molly Madeline Rendell, daughter of Ernest Arthur Rendell, on 3 May 1958.¹ He died on 4 December 2018 at age 84 at Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.³
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Boyd, of Howth House, Howth, co. Dublin [U.K., 1916] on 17 April 1948.¹
