     From 1 August 1766, her married name became Boyd.¹

     Sir John Boyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 October 1750 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir John Boyd, 1st Bt. and Mary Bumsted.¹ He married Margaret Harley, daughter of Hon. Thomas Harley and Anne Bangham, on 26 February 1784.¹ He died on 30 May 1815 at age 64.¹
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 8 June 1768.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 3 November 1772 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wareham in 1780.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boyd, of Danson, co. Kent [G.B., 1775] on 24 January 1800.¹
     He sold the Danson estate shortly after inheriting it.¹

     Margaret Harley was born circa 1766.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Thomas Harley and Anne Bangham.¹ She married Sir John Boyd, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Boyd, 1st Bt. and Mary Bumsted, on 26 February 1784.¹ She died on 20 November 1830 at Isleworth, London, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) in December 1830.¹
     From 26 February 1784, her married name became Boyd.¹

     Anne Bangham is the daughter of Edward Bangham.¹ She married Hon. Thomas Harley, son of Edward Harley, 3rd Earl of Oxford and Martha Morgan.¹
     Her married name became Harley.¹

     Sir John Boyd, 3rd Bt. was born on 5 June 1786.¹ He was the son of Sir John Boyd, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Harley.¹ He married Harriet Boyd, daughter of Hugh Boyd and Rose Boyd, on 22 September 1818.¹ He died on 19 January 1855 at age 68 at Boulogne-sur-Mer, France^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Boyd, of Danson, co. Kent [G.B., 1775] on 30 May 1815.¹
