     John Francis Blakiston was born on 21 March 1882.¹ He was the son of John Rochfort Blakiston and Georgina Helen Cubitt.¹ He married, firstly, Paula Howard, daughter of Edward Allen Howard, on 2 May 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Dora Ward-Jackson, daughter of Reverend George Alan Ward-Jackson and Dora Haggie, on 20 July 1937.¹ He died on 8 January 1965 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Cavalry, Indian Army.¹ He was Director-General of the Archaelogical Survey of India between 1934 and 1937.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1937.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Home Guards.¹

     Paula Howard is the daughter of Edward Allen Howard.¹ She married John Francis Blakiston, son of John Rochfort Blakiston and Georgina Helen Cubitt, on 2 May 1918.¹
     From 2 May 1918, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     Edward Allen Howard was a practising barrister.¹

     Margaret Dora Ward-Jackson was born in 1909 at Wetherby, Yorkshire, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend George Alan Ward-Jackson and Dora Haggie.^1,2 She married John Francis Blakiston, son of John Rochfort Blakiston and Georgina Helen Cubitt, on 20 July 1937.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     From 20 July 1937, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     Henry Alan Franklin Ward-Jackson was born on 20 October 1910 at Kirk Deighton, Yorkshire, England.² He was the son of Reverend George Alan Ward-Jackson and Dora Haggie.² He married Edith Flora Joyce Dugdale, daughter of Walter Geoffrey Dugdale and Edith Rosamond Shirley Harris, in 1935.² He died in 1993 at Windsor, Berkshire, England.²
     He was the Rector at Rousham with Lower Heyford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Alan Cubitt Blakiston was born on 15 July 1938.¹ He is the son of John Francis Blakiston and Margaret Dora Ward-Jackson.¹ He married Sally Ann Dickson, daughter of Lt.-Col. John David Logan Dickson and Elizabeth Daphne Fane, on 30 May 1975.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at London University, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 13th/18th Royal Hussars.¹ He lived in 2003 at Grove House, Lydiard Millicent, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     John William Matthew Blakiston was born on 11 November 1982.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. John Alan Cubitt Blakiston and Sally Ann Dickson.¹

     Caroline Mary Blakiston was born on 22 November 1979.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Alan Cubitt Blakiston and Sally Ann Dickson.¹
