     Floyd Hastings McCoy was born on 7 January 1897 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He was the son of George Francis Chris Warren and Adelia Carrie Jordon McCoy.¹ He married Violet Ann Ferris on 5 February 1941 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ He died on 15 September 1963 at age 66 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
     He was a trained navigator, and served as Pitcairn’s police inspector. In
1956, they lived in a British-style home, and were considered more ‘worldly’
than the average Pitcairn family. He was the first ham radio operator of
Pitcairn to set up a station powerful enough to maintain fairly constant
communication with similar stations in the Southwestern USA. (Ferdon:

     Alta Elizabeth Christian was born on 27 July 1898 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Tommy Smith and Sarah Elizabeth Christian.¹ She died at New Zealand^G.¹

     Violet Ann Ferris was born in 1914 at Australia^G.¹ She married Floyd Hastings McCoy, son of George Francis Chris Warren and Adelia Carrie Jordon McCoy, on 5 February 1941 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ She died on 19 July 1973 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
     Bookkeeper for the Pitcairn co-op store. An inveterate letter-writer, she
corresponded all over the world, and was responsible for building a stamp
business which she operated until her death.¹ Reference: ‘VI.¹‘ Her married name became McCoy.¹

     Laura Lorena Christian was born on 26 February 1918 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Floyd Hastings McCoy and Alta Elizabeth Christian.¹

     Walter Lawrence Guy Young was born on 12 April 1915 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He is the son of Alonzo Orville H. Young and Lura Constance Warren.¹ He married Lorena Melba Warren, daughter of Christopher Stanhope Warren and Mary Emeline Christian, at Pitcairn Island^G.¹

     Ena Iola Christian was born on 11 July 1936 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Walter Lawrence Guy Young and Laura Lorena Christian.¹

     Hilda Eva Christian was born on 16 March 1912 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Edgar Allen Christian and Adelia Carrie Jordon McCoy.¹ She married Robert Clement Young, son of Theodore Alwyn Young and Jeanette Baldwin Young, at Pitcairn Island^G.¹
     Her married name became Young.¹ She made the first set of false teeth on Pitcairn for Millie Coffin Christian, in 1954, after she returned from New Zealand having ‘picked up a little dentistry there’. (Ball: Pitcairn, Children of Mutiny.)¹

     Robert Clement Young was born on 16 July 1909 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He is the son of Theodore Alwyn Young and Jeanette Baldwin Young.¹ He married Hilda Eva Christian, daughter of Richard Edgar Allen Christian and Adelia Carrie Jordon McCoy, at Pitcairn Island^G.¹

     Erroll Ronald Young was born on 5 June 1928 at Pitcairn Island^G.¹ He is the son of Robert Clement Young and Hilda Eva Christian.¹

     Olive Mary Simpson was the daughter of Charles Liddell Simpson.¹ She married Sir Francis Edward Colquhoun Blake, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Francis Douglas Blake, 1st Bt. and Selina Colquhoun Burns, on 16 February 1924.¹ She died on 23 October 1946, killed in a car crash.¹
     From 16 February 1924, her married name became Blake.¹
