Quintal and Dorothy Buffett, on 7 January 1950 at Methodist Church, Norfolk Island.² He died on 11 January 1978 at age 65 at Ball Bay, Norfolk Island^G, accidentally killed by an explosion when using a stove in the whaling staff quarters.²
