John Theodore Cuthbert Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara1 
John Theodore Cuthbert Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara was born on 8 February 1884 at London, EnglandG.1,3 He was the son of John Arthur Henry Moore-Brabazon and Emma Sophia Richards.1,4 He married Hilda Mary Krabbé, daughter of Charles Henry Krabbé, on 27 November 1906.4 He died on 17 May 1964 at age 80.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Photographic Interpreation, Royal Flying Corps.4 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.4 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chatham between 1918 and 1929.4 He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary between 1919 and 1921, to Secretary of State for Air.4 He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary for Transport between 1923 and 1927.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wallasey between 1931 and 1942.4 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1940.4 He held the office of Minister of Transport from 1940 to 1941.4 He held the office of Minister of Aircraft Production from 1941 to 1942.4 He was created 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara, of Sandwich, co. Kent [U.K.] on 27 April 1942.1 He was a director of EMI.4 He was a director of Thomas Tilling.4 He was a director of David Brown Corporation.4 He was a director of Kodak.4 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1953.4 He wrote the book The Brabazon Story, published 1956.4 He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, ScotlandG, in 1959 with a Honorary Doctor of Law (LL.D.)4 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5

Hilda Mary Krabbé1 
Hilda Mary Krabbé was born circa 1878.3 She was the daughter of Charles Henry Krabbé.1 She married John Theodore Cuthbert Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara, son of John Arthur Henry Moore-Brabazon and Emma Sophia Richards, on 27 November 1906.3 She died on 23 July 1977.3
From 27 November 1906, her married name became Moore-Brabazon.1 After her marriage, Hilda Mary Krabbé was styled as Baroness Brabazon of Tara on 27 April 1942.
