     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹ He was a director of the Honourable East India Company.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹

     Florence Helen Brigg was born in 1867 at Almondbury, Yorkshire, England.² She was the daughter of John Fligg Brigg and Martha Ann Adelaide Lockwood.^1,2 She married, firstly, Colonel George Edward Elton Burroughs, son of George F. Rollo, in 1893 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.^1,2 She married, secondly, Major Charles Allix Lavington Yate, V.C. in 1903 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 She married, thirdly, Sir Richard Charles Acton Throckmorton, 10th Bt., son of Sir Robert George Throckmorton, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth Acton, on 30 July 1921.¹ She died on 28 March 1924.¹
     From 1893, her married name became Burroughs.¹ From 1903, her married name became Yate.¹ Her married name became Throckmorton.

     John Fligg Brigg was born in 1825 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.² He married Martha Ann Adelaide Lockwood in 1858 at Skipton, Yorkshire, England.² He died in 1899 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.²

Amelia Grace FitzRoy, on 14 December 1977.² He and Davina Jane Jessel were divorced in 1984.²

     Barbara Bracey married Charles Thomas Alexander Carlos Clarke, son of Charles Loraine Carlos Clarke and Lady Eileen Maud Juliana Knox, in 1949.¹
     From 1949, her married name became Carlos Clarke.¹

     Major Nicholas Joseph Anthony Throckmorton was born on 24 November 1913.¹ He was the son of Captain Herbert John Anthony Throckmorton and Ethel Mary Stapleton-Bretherton.¹ He married Rosemary Anne Alston, daughter of Major Edward Rowland Milles Alston, on 1 December 1955.¹ He died on 25 September 1980 at age 66 at Biddenden, Kent, England.²
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.¹ He was awarded the Knight of Honour and Devotion, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.¹ He lived in 1970 at The Forstal, Biddenden, Kent, England^G.¹

     Rosemary Anne Alston is the daughter of Major Edward Rowland Milles Alston.¹ She married Major Nicholas Joseph Anthony Throckmorton, son of Captain Herbert John Anthony Throckmorton and Ethel Mary Stapleton-Bretherton, on 1 December 1955.¹
     Her married name became Throckmorton.

     Major Edward Rowland Milles Alston lived at Capdepera, Mallorca, Spain^G.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Sir Anthony John Benedict Throckmorton, 12th Bt. was born on 9 February 1916.² He was the son of Captain Herbert John Anthony Throckmorton and Ethel Mary Stapleton-Bretherton.¹ He married Violet Virginia Anderson, daughter of Anders William Anderson, in 1972.² He died in 1994.³
     He was a Roman Catholic priest. He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Throckmorton, of Coughton, co. Warwick [E., 1642] on 13 December 1989.² He lived in 1994 at 2006 Oakes, Everett, Washington, U.S.A.^G.² On his death his baronetcy became dormant, and possibly extinct.³

     Richard Herbert Anthony Throckmorton was born on 7 August 1918.¹ He was the son of Captain Herbert John Anthony Throckmorton and Ethel Mary Stapleton-Bretherton.¹ He died on 12 June 1927 at age 8.¹
