Sir Ralph Delaval, 2nd Bt. was the son of Robert Delaval. He married Hon. Diana Booth, daughter of George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey and Lady Elizabeth Grey, before 1699.1 He died before 1699.1
He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Delaval, of Seaton Delaval, co. Northumberland.1

George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey1

George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey was born on 18 December 1622.3 He was the son of William Booth and Vere Egerton.3 He married, firstly, Lady Catharine Clinton, daughter of Theophilus Clinton, 4th Earl of Lincoln and Bridget Fiennes, on 30 November 1639 at St. Mary’s Church, Colechurch, London, EnglandG.3 He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Grey, daughter of Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford and Lady Anne Cecil, circa 14 December 1644.3 He died on 8 August 1684 at age 61.3
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between March 1646 and 1648.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Booth, of Dunham Massey, co. Chester [E., 1611] on 24 October 1652.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1654 and 1656.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1656 and 1658.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lancashire in 1659.3 He was Commander-in-Chief of the the forces in Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales, for the King.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire in 1660.3 In 1661 He was imprisoned by the Parliamentarians in the Tower of London.3 He was created 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey, co. Chester [England] on 20 April 1661.3 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4
