     Robert Robartes, Viscount Bodmin was born on 7 February 1634.2 He was the son of John Robartes, 1st Earl of Radnor and Lady Lucy Rich.1 He married Sarah Bodvile, daughter of John Bodvile and Anne Russell, in 1657.3 He died on 8 February 1681/82 at age 48.2 He was buried on 12 February 1681/82.3
     He was styled as Viscount Bodmin.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall in 1660.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bossinney between 1661 and 1679.3
