     Margaret Cock was the daughter of Ralph Cock.¹ She married, firstly, Captain John Rogers.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt., son of William Blackett and Isabella Croke, after 1674.¹ She died between July 1703 and November 1710.¹ Her will (dated 7 July 1703) was proven (by probate) on 13 November 1710.¹
     Her married name became Rogers.¹ From after 1674, her married name became Blackett.¹

     Ralph Cock lived at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Captain John Rogers married Margaret Cock, daughter of Ralph Cock.¹ He died before 1674.¹

     Sir Edward Blackett, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1649.¹ He was the son of Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Kirkley.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Norton, daughter of Thomas Norton, before 1680.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Yorke, daughter of Sir John Yorke and Mary Norton, circa 1680.¹ He married, thirdly, Hon. Diana Booth, daughter of George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey and Lady Elizabeth Grey, on 21 October 1699 at St. Mary le Bow, Durham, County Durham, England^G.¹ He died on 23 April 1718.¹ He was buried at Ripon, Yorkshire, North Riding, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in April 1718.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Blackett, of Newcastle, co. Northumberland [E., 1673] on 16 May 1680.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ripon from 1689 to 1690.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland from 1689 to 1690.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northumberland between 1690 and 1709.¹ He lived at Newby, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Norton was the daughter of Thomas Norton.¹ She married Sir Edward Blackett, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Kirkley, before 1680.¹ She died before 1680, without surviving issue.¹
     From before 1680, her married name became Blackett.¹

     Thomas Norton lived at Langthorne, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Yorke was baptised on 27 January 1657/58 at Richmond, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Yorke and Mary Norton.¹ She married Sir Edward Blackett, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Blackett, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Kirkley, circa 1680.¹
     From circa 1680, her married name became Blackett.¹

     Sir John Yorke was born in 1634.² He married Mary Norton, daughter of Maulger Norton and Ann Wandesford.³ He died on 3 April 1663.²
