Rear-Admiral Hugh Turnour England was born on 23 April 1884 at Ealing, London, England.2 He was the son of Captain William George England and Emily Isabella Turnour.1,2 He married Alice Marian Bellingham, daughter of Reverend William Claypon Bellingham and Susan Caroline Power, on 22 January 1918 at Dunany, County Louth, IrelandG.1 He died in 1978.2
He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.1
