Rachael Dashwood1 
From November 1738, her married name became Austen.1 She was styled as Baroness le Despenser on 11 December 1781, as she erroneously believed that the termination of the abeyance of this title in favour of her brother was tantamount to being in favour of her mother.1

Bucks [G.B., 1707] on 4 November 1724.3 He held the office of Treasurer of the Chambers.3 He held the office of Master of the Wardrobe.3 He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1762 and 1763.3 He succeeded as the 11th Lord le Despenser [E., 1314] in 1763.4 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Buckinghamshire (King’s Own) Militia.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)3 He held the office of Joint Postmaster-General
between 1766 and 1781.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.3 On his death, his barony fell into abeyance until the death of his sister, Rachael.4
