Sir John Armytage, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 July 1732.1 He was the son of Sir Samuel Armytage, 1st Bt. and Anne Griffith.1 He died on 10 September 1758 at age 26 at Saint-Cass, FranceG, slain, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Armytage, of Kirklees [in Hartshead], co. York [G.B., 1738] on 19 August 1747.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York between 1754 and 1758.1
