     unknown daughter Newton was the daughter of Sir Thomas Newton.² She married Sir Lyon Pilkington, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Pilkington, 1st Bt. and Ellen Lyon, on 31 December 1639.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     From 31 December 1639, her married name became Pilkington.

     Sir Lyon Pilkington, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1660.¹ He was the son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 2nd Bt. and Phoebe Moyle.² He married, firstly, Amy Eggleton, daughter of Thomas Eggleton, in 1683.¹ He married, secondly, Lennox Harrison, daughter of Cuthbert Harrison, circa 18 March 1698.¹ He died on 7 August 1714.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co. Yorks [N.S., 1635] circa 2 November 1684.¹

     Amy Eggleton was the daughter of Thomas Eggleton.¹ She married Sir Lyon Pilkington, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 2nd Bt. and Phoebe Moyle, in 1683.¹ She died on 4 April 1695.¹
     From 1683, her married name became Pilkington.

     Sir Lyon Pilkington, 4th Bt. was baptised on 5 June 1683.¹ He was the son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 3rd Bt. and Amy Eggleton.² He married Anne Wentworth, daughter of Sir Michael Wentworth and Dorothy Copley, on 3 February 1704/5.¹ He died circa 23 June 1716.¹ He was buried on 26 June 1716.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co. Yorks [N.S., 1635] on 7 August 1714.¹

     Anne Wentworth was the daughter of Sir Michael Wentworth and Dorothy Copley.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Charles Dalston, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Dalston, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Ramsden.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Lyon Pilkington, 4th Bt., son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 3rd Bt. and Amy Eggleton, on 3 February 1704/5.¹ She married, thirdly, John Maude on 1 December 1730.¹ She died on 5 August 1764.¹
     Her married name became Dalston.¹ From 3 February 1704/5, her married name became Pilkington. From 1 December 1730, her married name became Maude.¹

     Sir Lionel Pilkington, 5th Bt. was baptised on 20 January 1706/7.¹ He was the son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 4th Bt. and Anne Wentworth.² He died on 11 August 1778 at age 71, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co. Yorks [N.S., 1635] circa 23 June 1716.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1740 to 1741.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Horsham between 1748 and 1768.¹ He lived at Chevet in Royston, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Sir Michael Pilkington, 6th Bt. was baptised on 25 May 1715.¹ He was the son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 4th Bt.² He married, firstly, Judith Nettleton, daughter of Reverend Charles Nettleton, on 7 December 1738.¹ He married, secondly, Isabella Rawstorne, daughter of William Rawstorne, on 11 November 1772.¹ He died on 6 February 1788 at age 72.¹
     He lived Lupset in Wakefield.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Pilkington, of Stanley, near Wakefield and Nether Bradley, also co. Yorks [N.S., 1635] on 11 August 1778.¹

     Judith Nettleton was the daughter of Reverend Charles Nettleton.¹ She married Sir Michael Pilkington, 6th Bt., son of Sir Lyon Pilkington, 4th Bt., on 7 December 1738.¹ She died on 29 January 1772, without issue.¹
     From 7 December 1738, her married name became Pilkington.

     Mary Gwenlliam Blandy Norton was born in 1906 at Radley, Berkshire, England.¹ She is the daughter of James Lees Norton and Blanche Gwendoline Blandy.¹
