Yorks [N.S., 1635] circa 23 June 1716.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1740 to 1741.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Horsham between 1748 and 1768.1 He lived at Chevet in Royston, Yorkshire, England.1
